Privacy Policy
This policy explains what StationWon ("we", "us") collects at stationwon.net and how we use it. We collect as little as we can.
What we collect
- Waitlist. If you join the waitlist we store your email address, the time you signed up, and, for abuse prevention, the IP address and browser user-agent string of the request.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider and server record standard request logs (IP address, requested page, time, user agent) to operate and secure the service. These are kept for a short period.
- API keys. If we issue you an API key, we keep the key and associated usage counts needed to apply rate limits.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not set tracking cookies. Your light/dark theme choice is saved only in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
How we use it
We use your email only to tell you about early access and important StationWon updates. We use IP addresses and user agents to prevent spam and abuse and to keep the service running. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it except with service providers who host the service for us (currently Fly.io, which runs our servers in the United States) or where required by law.
Retention
We keep waitlist entries until early access opens and for as long as you remain interested; you can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will remove it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to be removed from the waitlist, by emailing stationhelp@stationwon.info. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor valid requests.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS and stored on encrypted volumes with access limited to the operators of StationWon. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Children
StationWon is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
